Wounded Kobold explains that something is definetly lost in your translation...but it is close enough...

There have been men that commited suicide after the were the subject of Wounded Kobold's poetry. He would not wish the full might of his satires on such a promising student.

He will attempt to use simpler prose for his opponent...

I believe Wounded Kobold may successfully insult during his attack by virtue of his Tongue In Cheek Feat...which is a special ability of the Kobold Bardic class,

Patrick amy use, however, the Foot in Mouth Feat to counter it's effects, if he has designated Wounded Kobold as the specific target for this feet during his encounter. This causes the insult to revert to the offender, who must make a Will Save (DC 10+ caster level) or be unable to hurl more insults for 1d4 rounds.

Wounded Kobold makes a daring, "shaggy dog pick-pocket", taking two months to complete the deed while Patrick mulls the name of the chapter this fight will be in his never-ending log.

(A brief check by wounded Kobold confirms his fears...this is a normal quill, so he can't do extensive ink damage to Logopolis by spearing him with it)
